Idemitsu partners with Mitsubishi, Proman for US blue ammonia project
Idemitsu Kosan has announced it will join the proposed clean ammonia production project in Lake Charles, Louisiana, alongside conglomerate Mitsubishi Corporation and methanol and fertiliser producer Proman.
The project is intended to produce around 1.2 million tonnes of “ultra-low carbon” ammonia annually by fiscal year 2030, by incorporating carbon capture and sequestration technology. The facility will be located on Proman’s existing site …
