Iberdrola targets 700 MW new battery storage capacity by 2025
Iberdrola plans to add 700 megawatts of battery storage capacity to its portfolio by 2025, which is 400 MW more than it estimated last year, Kallanish reports.
The boost in battery storage projects, primarily focused on the UK and Australian markets, comes as Iberdrola pledges to invest a total of €47 billion ($47.58 billion) in the 2023-2025 period to increase its renewables generation capacity to 52 gigawatts.
