Iberdrola delivers first hydrogen storage tanks for Puertollano project
Spanish utility Iberdrola has delivered the first five of 11 ordered hydrogen storage tanks for its Puertollano project with fertiliser company Fertiberia, Kallanish reports.
The tanks were manufactured in Asturias using special 47 millimetre-thick steel sheet. The thickness will withstand pressure of around 60 bars, allowing the companies to store 2,700 kilograms of green hydrogen.
