Hyundai to replace LG Energy batteries in 82,000 EVs

South Korean car maker Hyundai Motor is set to perform the world’s most costly recall following the results of a safety investigation on the battery systems of some of its electric vehicles. The company will recall a total of 81,701 vehicles globally – 75,680 Kona EVs, 5,716 Ioniq EVs and 305 Elec City buses.
