Hyundai to launch EV sales in Russia in 2021
South Korea’s Hyundai Motor Group plans to officially launch sales of electric vehicles (EVs) in Russia in late 2021-early 2022, according to managing director of Hyundai Motor CIS Alexei Kalitsev.
The Hyundai 45 model will be the automaker’s first EV available to the Russian market. Hyundai sees Moscow and the resort town of Sochi as the main market for electric cars in the country, Kallanish notes.
