Hyundai starts BEV production in Indonesia
Hyundai Motor opened on Monday its new car manufacturing plant in Indonesia, which is also the first BEV factory in Southeast Asia, Kallanish reports.
The plant located in Deltamas industrial complex, Cikarang, started production of the all-electric IONIQ 5. It will also produce the CRETA SUV and a newly developed multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) model for the Southeast Asian markets.
