Hyundai Motor to invest $2.43 billion in India's Tamil Nadu state
Hyundai Motor India said Thursday it plans to invest INR 200 billion ($2.43 billion) over the next 10 years to establish EV production in India’s southern Tamil Nadu state, Kallanish reports.
In an MOU signing ceremony, the carmaker said the investment includes the modernisation of the Chennai plant to increase both EV and ICE car production to 850,000 cars/year.
