Hyundai Motor launches its next-generation BEV platform
South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor revealed on 2 December its first dedicated battery electric vehicle (BEV) platform, to be used in its next-generation BEV line-up.
The Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) enables BEVs to reach over 500 kilometres on a full charge and be charged up to 80% within 18 minutes through high-speed charging, Kallanish reports.
