Hyundai Motor Group’s companies to join global renewables initiative
Hyundai Motor Group is looking to join Climate Group’s RE100 initiative, with a plan to have its five affiliates relying on 100% renewable power by 2050, Kallanish reports.
The company said on Wednesday that individual applications for the membership will be filed later this month. Once approved, the affiliates, which include Hyundai Motor and Kia, will have their own transition deadlines. These should be between 2040 and 2050.
