Hyundai Motor Group plans green hydrogen production from biogas
South Korea’s Hyundai Motor Group announced Friday it will start a waste-to-green hydrogen demonstration project near Seoul, Kallanish reports.
The company plans to convert biogas generated during a food waste treatment process into green hydrogen over the next two years. The demonstration system is planned to produce 216 kilograms of green hydrogen per day, which is enough to power over 34 NEXOs – Hyundai’s fuel cell electric vehicles.
