German new green utility HH2E confirmed on Wednesday it has signed a purchase contract for 120 megawatts of electrolyser equipment from Norwegian manufacturer Nel.
The roughly €34 million ($35.9m) deal follows a letter of intent inked in January. It consolidates HH2E’s plans to start producing green hydrogen in the second half of 2025 at its HH2EWerk Lubmin project, in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany.
