Hanwha, Ineos to study blue ammonia facility in the US
South Korean conglomerate Hanwha Corporation and British chemicals manufacturer Ineos Nitriles will explore the potential for a low-carbon ammonia facility with carbon sequestration.
Under a heads of terms announced Monday, the pair will study the feasibility of a facility with a capacity of 1 million tonnes/year. The plant will be in the US in a location to be determined, Kallanish understands.
