Global EV battery deployment rises 60.6% in January

Global power battery loaded capacity increased 60.6% on-year in January to reach 51.5 gigawatt-hours, according to South Korean research institute SNE Research. The data shows that China’s CATL installed most of the EV batteries in the world in January. The manufacturer’s loaded capacity rose 88.1% year-on-year to 20.5 GWh.
