Ghana’s fund offers $30m investment in Atlantic Lithium
Ghana’s Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF) is negotiating an equity investment of up to $30 million in Australia-listed mining firm Atlantic Lithium, Kallanish reports.
The state-owned investment fund announced the start of talks in a statement. An undisclosed stake in the fully funded Africa-focused company, which is backed by the US’s Piedmont Lithium, would give the fund access to the Ewoyaa discovery on the Cape Coast lithium belt.
