Germany’s PHEV sales continue to drop as subsidies end
German registrations of new plug-in hybrid electric vehicles dropped again in February as the government stopped subsidising this powertrain to focus funds on all-electric cars, Kallanish reports.
According to the latest data from the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), PHEV sales declined 44.8% in February to 11,916 units and a market share of 5.8%. They had already fallen by 53.2% in January.
