Germany’s BEV sales rise more than petrol, diesel in August
Sales of battery electric vehicles (BEV) grew more than registrations of new petrol and diesel passenger cars in Germany during August, Kallanish reports.
According to data released by the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), BEV registrations rose 10.9% on-year last month to 32,006 units and a market share of 16.1%.
In comparison, sales of conventional petrol cars rose 1.2% and diesel by 6.3%.
