Germany’s BEV sales rise 68.9% in July
Germany’s electric passenger car market continued to see accelerated growth in battery electric vehicle (BEV) registrations in July, with the powertrain taking a market share of 20% in the month.
According to data from the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), 48,682 new BEVs entered German roads last month – an increase of 68.9% on-year. The sales were led by Volkswagen’s ID.4 and ID.5 models.
