Germany’s BEV sales rise 32.2% in 2022
Germany recorded an increase of 32.2% in its new battery electric vehicle (BEV) registrations in 2022, led by Tesla, Volkswagen and Hyundai, Kallanish reports.
According to data released by the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), BEVs accounted for 470,559 of the new passenger car sales in the country last year, up from 355,961 in 2021. The figures correspond to a 17.7% market share.
