Germany’s BEV registrations rebound 13.2% in July
German registrations of new battery electric vehicles (BEVs) increased 13.2% on-year in July, but sales of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) continued their downward trend with a 21.4% y-o-y decline, Kallanish reports.
The country sold 28,815 BEVs last month, corresponding to a 14% market share. In June, BEV sales were down 3.5% on-year, but volume was higher at 32,234 units. The Fiat 500 continued to be the best-selling all-electric in July.
