German EV sales continue buoyant journey
Europe’s largest market for pure electric vehicles (BEVs), Germany, saw a 124.2% year-on-year increase in new registrations in February, data from the country’s motor vehicle authority (KBA) reveals.
BEV sales reached 18,278 units last month, taking a market share of 9.4%. Plug-in hybrids sales rose 161.9% y-o-o to 21,879 units, accounting for a 11.3% share of all new registrations, Kallanish learns.
