France clears nearly 60 EV models for new subsidies
France’s new green bonus incentive scheme for electric vehicle purchases, starting on 15 December, will exclude around 26% of the models currently sold in the country.
In a list published by the government, almost 60 models from 22 manufacturers are eligible for a subsidy between €5,000 ($5,453) and €7,000 ($7,634), for models priced under €47,000. The vehicles eligible for the incentive have a carbon footprint below 14.75 tonnes of CO2.
