Form Energy to build $760m iron-air battery plant in West Virginia
Energy storage developer Form Energy says it plans to build a $760 million iron-air battery in northern West Virginia, Kallanish reports.
The plant to produce multi-day battery storage systems will be located on a 55-acre tract on the Ohio River in Weirton, West Virginia, and construction is expected to begin later this year.
