Ford becomes No.2 US BEV seller in quest to displace Tesla
Ford became the second-largest seller of all-electric vehicles in the US during 2021, with further growth targeted with increased production and upcoming releases, Kallanish reports.
The carmaker said it sold 27,140 units of the Mustang Mach-E BEV last year. The performance follows a previous announcement of tripling production capacity of the model to over 200,000 units/year by 2023.
