Farasis unveils new high density, high power cell generation
Farasis Energy Europe has introduced a new battery cell variant capable of storing up 700 kilometres of range in less than 15 minutes, Kallanish reports.
These Generation 4 pouch cells, to be marketed as Ultra High Power cells, have an energy density of 300 watt-hours per kilogram or 692 watt-hours per litre. Farasis says its Generation 1 cells currently top the international market with an energy density of 285 Wh/kg.
