Sales of new electrified passenger cars in the EU surpassed the share of petrol cars in February, boosted primarily by BEV and HEV registrations, Kallanish reports.
According to data released by ACEA on Tuesday, the combined market share of BEVs, PHEVs and HEVs accounted for 44.8% of all new car registrations in the bloc last month. Petrol registrations took a 36.9% share of the market, while diesel cars accounted for 15%.
