European manufacturers call for ‘made in Europe’ requirements
European manufacturers have urged the European Union to introduce “made in Europe” subsidy requirements to curb the threat of Chinese imports on European hydrogen equipment manufacturers.
As many as 20 companies signed a letter to the European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen on Monday, urging tougher subsidy requirements. Signatories include Siemens Energy, Nel Hydrogen, Topsoe, Sunfire, and thyssenkrupp nucera.
