EPA finalises special ruling to block Alaska's proposed Pebble copper mine
The US Environmental Protection Agency is officially blocking the proposed Pebble copper-gold-molybdenum-silver-rhenium mine in southwest Alaska in order to protect Bristol Bay and its sockeye salmon, and that will trigger a new legal fight, Kallanish reports.
