Egypt steps up in green hydrogen
Norway’s Scatec has inked an agreement with Fertiglobe and The Sovereign Fund of Egypt (TSFE) to jointly develop a 50-100 megawatt green hydrogen facility as feedstock for 90,000 tonnes/year of green ammonia production near EBIC in Ain Sokhna-Egypt.
The facility is the first step toward developing a green hydrogen hub in Egypt. Scatec will build, operate and majority-own the facility and a long-term off-take agreement will be entered into with Fertiglobe&rsq…
