Egyptian green hydrogen project selects Plug Power for electrolyser
New York-headquartered Plug Power Inc has been selected as the electolyser provider for the 100 megawatt green hydrogen facility to be built at Egyptian Basic Industries Corporation SAE (EBIC)’s facility in Ain Sokhna, Egypt. EBIC is a joint venture between Norweigan Scatec, Abu Dhabi-headquartered Fertiglobe, Netherland-based OCI NV, the Sovereign Fund of Egypt and Egyptian Orascom Construction.
