EC approves €5.2 billion hydrogen funding to delight of industry
The European hydrogen industry welcomed on Thursday the approval of €5.2 ($5.12) billion in public aid towards the hydrogen supply chain in the region, Kallanish reports.
“We are delighted to see the second wave of IPCEI projects secure approval. These projects come at the perfect moment as we strive to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels,” comments Jorgo Chatzimarkakis, ceo of trade body Hydrogen Europe.
