E3 Lithium leases Alberta well for lithium brine testing
E3 Lithium says it has acquired a third-party well at its Clearwater project area within the Bashaw District in Alberta in western Canada, Kallanish reports.
Leasing an existing well will reduce the environmental impact, save the company more than CAD 1.5 million ($111.6m), and re-use oil-and-gas infrastructure, the company says. The newly acquired well is close to where the company had been planning to drill its third well to test the aquifer for lithium brine.
