E25 explores Butcherbird restart amid manganese price surge
Record high manganese ore prices have prompted Australian miner Element 25 to reassess options to restart its Butcherbird project in Western Australia, Kallanish reports.
To take advantage of the current strong prices, E25 is exploring opportunities to process run-of-mine stockpiles and low-grade stockpiles at Butcherbird. Production at the manganese project was suspended early this year due to “depressed ore prices.”
