Depcom Power begins building BESS system in Puerto Rico
Arizona-based energy solutions contractor Depcom Power has begun construction on Circo One, touted as Puerto Rico’s largest solar and battery energy storage system (BESS).
Located in the municipality of Salinas, the hybrid system was inaugurated on 1 November and is expected to become operational by the end of 2024. Depcom will then operate and maintain the system for five years.
