Defense Metals signs Wicheeda exploration deal with First Nations group
Canada’s Defense Metals says it has signed an initial mineral exploration agreement near its Wicheeda rare earth project in British Columbia with the McLeod Lake Indian Band, Kallanish reports.
The agreement covers mineral exploration activities related to the project and puts in place a framework for communications and cooperation moving forward, the British Columbia-based company says. It also provides economic opportunities for the First Nation group.
