COPPER: Sandfire buys Spanish mines, processing plant for $1.8 billion
Australia-based Sandfire Resources is acquiring a Spanish copper mining complex for $1.865 billion that makes Sandfire one of Australia’s largest copper producers and a bigger global copper player, Kallanish reports.
