COPPER: Peruvian production decreases in April
Peruvian copper output decreased on-month in April, Kallanish reports. Production volumes were also down on-year, although insignificantly.
The latest report by Peru’s mines and energy ministry Minem shows national copper production reached 170,168 tonnes in the month, which represents a 6.6% decrease on-month. This volume was also 1.7% less compared to April 2021.
