COPPER: Peru's production increases in July
Peru saw its copper output rise on-month in July. Production, however, was down compared to the same period in 2020, Kallanish notes.
The latest report by Peru’s mines and energy ministry Minem shows that copper production increased by 4.2% m-o-m but was 4.3% less y-o-y to 190,296 tonnes in July.
