COPPER: Mexican August refined production increases, ore extraction slips
Mexican refined copper production rose month-on-month in August, Kallanish learns from the latest report issued by local statistics institute Inegi. Copper ore extraction, however, slightly fell compared to July.
According to the data, the country produced 40,669 tonnes of refined copper during the month. This was 1.9% more than in the previous month but 1.5% lower when compared to the 41,284 t in August 2020.
