COPPER: Metso Outotec to supply Florence in-situ project in Arizona
Finland-based Metso Outotec says it has signed an agreement to supply copper solvent extraction and electrowinning (SX/EW) technology for the Florence in-situ copper project in southern Arizona, Kallanish reports.
The $30 million deal was signed with Florence Copper, a subsidiary of Taseko Mines. Metso Outotec will deliver the modular solvent extraction plant and the main process equipment for the electrowinning plant.
