COPPER: Kamoa-Kakula mines set daily production record with 729 tonnes
Canada-based Ivanhoe Mines says its Kamoa-Kakula mines in the Democratic Republic of the Congo set a new daily production record of 729 tonnes of copper on 25 October, Kallanish reports.
“This excellent achievement highlights the level of production we are targeting in the future,” says ceo Mark Farren in a statement.
