COPPER: Brazilian refined, ore exports recover in August
Brazilian copper exports increased on-month in August after falling for four consecutive months.
According to data from the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic), exports last month were up 25.2% and 46.5%, respectively m-o-m and y-o-y, to 7,540 tonnes. Year-to-date, copper exports reached 61,226 t or 4.7% more over the first eight months of last year, Kallanish notes.
