COBALT: Jervois Global awards $150,000 to Salmon River projects
Jervois Global Ltd is providing $150,000 for three watershed projects along the Salmon River in Idaho in the western United States, Kallanish reports.
The Idaho Department of Fish and Game, along with the Salmon-Challis National Forest, will get $75,000 to remove two culverts that block fish access to an important tributary of the Salmon River. The project will allow migrating fish back into a 10-mile section of river.
