COPPER: Strikes rock Chilean copper industry
Mining in Chile has been involved in a situation of uncertainty due to labour issues in the last week, Kallanish notes.
The country`s largest copper producer, Codelco, says that its workers at The División Andina went on strike on 12 August after ongoing talks with the company over the new collective agreement collapsed.
