Chile opens solar PV finance scheme to small, artisanal miners
Chile is offering small-sized and artisanal miners in the country financial support to install solar photovoltaic systems in their operations to enhance the sector’s sustainability credentials.
The so-called PAMMA Innova programme provides financing and installation of the technology in the regions of Atacama, Coquimbo, Valparaíso and O’Higgins. Interested miners must apply for the benefit by 30 August. Results will be announced on 8-9 November,…
