Changan, Huawei to form NEV JV named Newcool
Chinese automaker Changan Auto says it will form a new joint venture with Chinese technology firm Huawei, expected to be named Newcool, Kallanish reports.
The JV, which in Chinese will be known as Yingwang, will focus on the R&D, design, production, sales and service of automotive intelligent systems and component solutions. It will cover seven subsets including vehicle intelligent driving solutions, smart cockpit, data platform, and smart lighting.
