Centrica introduces H2-ready engines at UK power plant

British utility Centrica has commenced the installation of four hydrogen-ready engines at its peaking power plant in Lincolnshire, UK, Kallanish reports. The company is installing the Wärtsilä 31SG gas engines inside the former turbine hall at the Brigg power station, which was decommissioned in 2020.
