CBAK teams up with JAC Motors to develop new battery cells
China’s leading lithium-ion battery manufacturer, CBAK Energy Technology, has teamed up with state carmaker Anhui Jianghuai Motors Group (JAC Motors) to develop cylindrical batteries and battery packs.
The firms signed a three-year partnership agreement, announced by CBAK on Monday. The deal leverages CBAK’s battery technology leadership and JAC Motors’ world-class automotive R&D capabilities to accelerate mutual growth, Kallanish learns.
