CATL's Qilin battery reaches scaled production
Leading battery firm CATL has already reached scaled production for its Qilin battery product, Kallanish learns.
According to CATL, the volume utilisation rate of the Qilin batteries exceeds 72%, the energy density of the ternary cells can reach 255 watt-hours/kilogram, the system energy density of the lithium iron phosphate batteries can reach 160 Wh/kg, and the battery pack integration rate is the highest in the world.
