CATL affiliation wins prospecting rights for lithium mine in Xinjiang
An affiliate company of Chinese battery giant CATL named Xinjiang Zhite New Material won a recent auction for prospecting rights to South Lithium Mine of Washixia, Ruoqiang County, Xinjiang, Kallanish learns from Xinjiang Public Resources Trading Network.
The deal was closed at CNY 6.10 billion ($876.97 million), about 384 times the starting price of the auction.
