CATL, Stellantis sign MOU on LFP batteries in Europe
Chinese battery giant CATL plans to supply lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells and modules for European carmaker Stellantis, in Europe, Kallanish reports.
The companies announced in a joint statement on Tuesday the signing of a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MOU). Under the deal, the companies will evaluate the possibility to form a joint venture with equivalent contributions to support Stellantis’ electrification strategy.
